Denise Barrows

Denise came to the Chambersburg area in 1981 and has been working in the public accounting profession for over 40 years. Earning her CPA license in 1984 and her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) designation in 1988 has enabled Denise to assist clients in meeting their personal financial goals. She is a licensed financial advisor with Avantax Investment Services located in Dallas, Texas.

Denise has served as a director of the Chambersburg Hospital Board of Directors and as a council member at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is a member of the AICPA, PICPA, and FSI (Financial Services Institute) where she currently serves on the FSI Board of Directors. She frequently speaks on taxation and personal financial planning.
